This month, Athletic Propulsion Labs officially launched the Concept 2, a follow-up to their 2010 NBA-banned Concept 1 flagship. The Concept 2 features a two-piece synthetic carbon fiber upper, performance engineered collar, speed lacing system and newly designed herringbone traction pattern. Retained from the Concept 1 is the controversial spring-based Load 'N Launch technology, which can potentially add a few inches to your vertical.
Priced at $175, the Concept 2 is currently available at Athletic Propulsion Labs. Read on for a detailed look at the new model, as well as a few comparison shots alongside the Concept 1.
