Sunday's NBA Tip-Off closer between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors not only marked the debut of new Clipper teammates Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups and Caron Butler, but also center DeAndre Jordan's first regular season outing as a member of the Under Armour family. For the occasion, the good people over at UA laced Jordan with this Christmas PE colorway of the Micro G Funk. The red-based shoe features dark green accenting on the laces and midsole, while white handles Under Armour branding on the cross strap and the outsole. For personalization, DeAndre's jersey number "6" appeared on the tongue.
In addition to being the victim of a third quarter "Hack-a-Jordan" strategy by new Dubs Coach Mark Jackson, DeAndre left his imprint on the game with eight blocked shots on the night. Will the Clippers' center dethrone Dwight Howard as the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year this season?
