Typically making headlines due to its status as a collaboration favorite, ASICS' split-tongued GEL-Lyte III is set to hit retail early next year in a colorway that appears to be inspired by a couple of classic Air Jordans. The black-based runner features several hits of infrared throughout, including the tongue, collar, Arch borders and various branding points. An Air Jordan 4-like speckle cement print is used on the grey midsole, which sits atop a tri-colored rubber outsole.
This eye-catching GEL-Lyte III can be pre-ordered today at Hanon with an expected January 2012 ship date.
