New Balance has just released the 301, a shoe designed and made just for women. The 301, sold exclusively at Urban Outfitters boutiques, takes notes from the New Balance 320, which was the first shoe to sport the recognizable "N" logo.
The 301 is a modern athetlic shoe design that comes in both a red or blue-based colorway. Featuring suede and nylon uppers, soft cotton laces and an embroidered logo at the tongue, the 301 is a perfect addition to New Balance's Fall 2012 collection.
I was lucky enough to receive a pair in blue to test out, and I was really impressed with the fit and feel of the shoe. These shoes are definitely made with women in mind as they are on the narrow side, but fit great. All of the materials are soft and flexible, from the upper to the gum outsole. Not only are they comfortable, but they are cute as well. I would definitely recommend trying these shoes out or maybe picking them up for a special lady this holiday season.
