With it being Penny Hardaway week here on Sole Collector in honor of this Saturday's Sole Collector x Nike x Penny Hardaway Event in Las Vegas, we'll take a look at a second vintage Penny commercial today.
Here we get a look at him early in his career before Lil' Penny came along in a commercial for the Air Go LWP, which is one of the shoes inspiring the Zoom Rookie LWP. LWP (Light Weight Performance) was a label Nike created in the mid-90's for a line of lightweight shoes including basketball and training models. The Air Go is the most well-known of all LWP models and here we see it in Penny's popular Orlando Magic colorway. Although it's not a signature shoe, it's an essential part of any Penny Hardaway sneaker fan's collection.
