After Tinker Hatfield laid out the concept of re-creating the "Back To The Future" worn cult classic Nike MAG nearly six years ago, it was Innovator Tiffany Beers who re-developed the shoe from scratch, building out new molds, piecing together working LED lighting systems and traveling to Asia on several occasions and for months at a time to make sure every last detail was exact.
Last Friday, Beers took to the stage at The Montalban Theatre in Hollywood in front of 700 sneakerheads to help share some insights on the design, development and backstory of the Nike MAG. Of course, it seemed like a decent opportunity to break out something special. Unreleased and never before seen outside of our extensive "Air Yeezy" feature in Issue 29, Beers was seen wearing an elusive all Glow In The Dark Air Yeezy sample.
