This December will mark the return of the "Concord" Air Jordan XI - not only the year's most anticipated sneaker release, but arguably the single most popular Air Jordan of all-time. One of Tinker Hatfield's finest pieces of work, the Jordan XI marked the debut of patent leather on basketball shoes and was worn by Michael Jordan during the historic 72-win 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls championship season. Cordura construction, a carbon fiber spring plate and translucent "icy" outsole are just some of the other features that made the XI an instant classic.
With the "Concords" making a return, the most frequently asked question is, "How do these compare to past versions?" If that's a question you've found yourself asking, we have the answer here for you today courtesy of Forum Administrator MJO23DAN. In more than 80 photos below, you are not only given a detailed look at this year's "Concord" Air Jordan Retro 11 release, but comparison shots showing how it stacks up against the original 1995 release, the original toddler sized pair from 1995, the 2000 retro and the Defining Moments Package XI from 2006.
Scroll through the pages for side-by-side comparisons and a closer look at the December 23rd release. Again, a special thank you to MJO23DAN for snapping more than 80 pictures for us to share with you.
