Last Thursday, etnies and film director Kevin Smith made their way to the El Dorado Cocktail Lounge in San Diego, California, where a legion of faithful fans were on hand for a private party to celebrate the launch of the etnies Smeakers. Inspired by Smith's SModcast podcast with long-time partner Scott Mosier, the etnies Jameson 2.5 Smeaker features a black upper with the SModcast “Have a Week” and “Forgeticus!” signature quotes stitched on the heel and the side heel panel of the shoe. Other features include the Smeaker logo on the tongue and classic black and white photos of Smith and Mosier on the footbeds.
The VIP-access only event included complimentary beer from Pabst Blue Ribbon, shoe giveaways, a meet and greet with Kevin Smith and a live taping of the SModcast.
Priced at $64.99, the limited edition etnies SMEAKER will only be available for purchase exclusively online in mid-August at etnies.com.
