Perhaps a sign that And1 will make a stronger push this season behind their star client Monta Ellis, here's another colorway of his new signature shoe, the ME8 Empire. This pair features a red synthetic and mesh upper with metallic gold hits on the lace eyelets, And1 logo borders and lace details. White fills in the logos and fades to red along the midsole. Red also handles the outsole, which encases a gold visible air unit. Making this pair a little different from the others is Monta's "ME8" logo on the heel in gold, as opposed to the And1 logo seen on the others. It's possible that this is a China colorway or something created for the All-Star Game.
The And1 ME8 Empire Mid will drop this fall.
