If you flash back to our exclusive sneak peak inside the closet of Jordan Brand International General Manger Gentry Humphrey from several years back, you may recall an unreleased sample colorway of the Air Jordan XIX that featured a red marbled toebox. It turns out that sample (not Gentry's) has recently surfaced on eBay and is available to purchase.
This sample features a mostly white upper, including a mesh vent on the front of the shoe and the heel pull-tab. Chrome is used for Jumpman branding on the sides, while red marble leather is draped over the toebox. Flint grey works the inner liner, as well as the outsole to complete the look.
What do you think of this Air Jordan XIX sample? Would you like to see the Jordan Brand resurrect the concept for something like a Bin23 release?
