In recent weeks and throughout the NBA season, Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo has strangely been seen wearing the Zoom Kobe VI during games. Sure, competition and outright rivalry isn't what it once was, but a Celtic wearing a Laker signature shoe just seems wrong on so many levels. Thankfully for Boston fans, Rondo is ditching Kobe's kicks and returning to his beloved Hyperfuse Low for the remainder of the Celtics' semi-finals series with the Heat, starting with Saturday's game in Boston.
Seen below are customized pairs for Rondo to wear in both home and away games. The home pair, which we should see on Saturday, is white-based with green, metallic gold and black accenting. For road games is a black look, complimented by green side panels and gold branding.
Take a look at both of Rondo's iDs below and look for them to debut on the court this weekend. The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low will be available on Nike iD starting July 6th.
