If you're a fan of the Tokyo23 Air Jordan Retro 5 and haven't been able to get your hands on a pair, the going rate for them on eBay ranges from $800-$1000. So grabbing a pair of the Japan-exclusive from here on out will seemingly require quite a bit of luck or an extremely large wad of cash. However, some independent online retail spots are still due to carry the highly coveted retro and may shave a little off that rather lofty price tag.
Here's another look at the Tokyo23, which was released in Japan at the end of April in preparation for the Tokyo23 Basketball Tournament. The shoe features a maize nubuck upper with black, anthracite and white details. Replacing the standard '23' embroidery on the heel is the Tokyo23 logo. This set of photos also gives us a look at the special insoles that line each shoe.
According to Kix-Files, they'll be carrying the Tokyo23s soon. When they'll be posted and what the cost will be is unknown at the moment. We'll keep you posted if we hear any new information.
