In an interview with Sole Collector last summer, Philadelphia 76ers swingman Andre Iguodala said that he slightly preferred the feel of the Hyperdunk 2010 over that of the Zoom Hyperfuse. However, by the end of the 2010-2011 season, he had fully transitioned into the Hyperfuse after wearing the Hyperdunk 2010 early in the season. It's been his go-to shoe since, and he's continued to wear the model in the playoffs. Adding to his already wide-range of colorways, Nike has supplied Iggy with a couple of special playoff Hyperfuse PEs, including the pair we'll be showing you today.
Featuring a relatively simply look, Iggy's playoff Hyperfuse sports a white synthetic and open-hole mesh build. Red works the inner liner, midsole and outsole. Lastly, royal blue takes care of branding on the tongue and side panels, as well as Andre's "AI" logo on the ankle.
Thus far, Iggy has stuck with a black-based pair with similar accents in the playoffs. However, with Philly extending their playoff series against the Heat earlier today, maybe we'll see him break them out in Game 5.
