In his very first playoff game as a New York Knick earlier today, Carmelo Anthony also managed to break out a custom Knicks colorway of his signature Melo M7 for the very first time. It was also the first time that he wore the evolution model of the M7, which has been dubbed the Melo M7 Advance.

Featuring both Hyperfuse construction and strands of Flywire along the upper, the Melo M7 Advance is once again designed by Justin Taylor and cuts a full ounce out of the shoe for Anthony in his size 15. This player exclusive colorway of the Advance features a royal blue synthetic Flywire upper, black nubuck eyestay and midsole, white outsole and hits of orange throughout. Melo shot just 5-18 in a 2-point Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics, including a potential game-winning three that fell short as time expired.

We'll be sure to keep you updated once we have more infortmation on which colorways of the Melo M7 Advance will be releasing at retail, and for now, enjoy a clean look at Melo's signature shoe for the playoff run.
