From time to time, boxes show up at the Sole Collector office. The contents are at times in size 13 even. It goes without saying, but I'm VERY thankful when that happens.
And then there's boxes like this. A shoe box that isn't actually a shoe box at all, as you can clearly see below. To be honest, I'm kind of glad all shoe boxes aren't exactly like this, as closet stacking would definitely suck, but on the rare chance brands take some extra time to (sorry in advance -- couldn't word this any other way...) think outside the box, the extra effort doesn't go unnoticed.
When I first peered into the stale brown shipping box that offered up some protection for the roughly 14 minute delivery trek from the adidas Village to the SC Office, I wasn't even sure of what I was looking at. Shoes don't come in semi-clear cylinders, I figured. Maybe there was a jacket inside? Luckily, tucked neatly inside was indeed a bright blue pair of the upcoming ClimaCool Ride, ready to be thrown right on for wear.
