When the Orlando Magic played the New York Knicks earlier this month, Gilbert Arenas sat the game out to rest his surgically repaired knee. The Magic traveled to Madison Square Garden to take on the Knicks again on Wednesday and Gil found himself available for action this time around.

A player who seemingly understands the moment when choosing his footwear, Arenas brought back one of his heavy hitters to perform in front of Spike Lee and company. He rocked the "Penny" Nike Air Foamposite One, which he first wore in a game against the Miami Heat back in February. With the shoe recently returning to retail, there's probably a good chance we'll see them again before season's end.

At MSG, Gilbert wasn't exactly the 30-point assassin that we remember from his days in D.C., but he did make a solid contribution to a very important Magic win. He notched 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in just 19 minutes of play, helping lift the Magic to a 111-99 victory. Orlando will host the New Jersey Nets and a returning Deron Williams on Friday Night.
