Released in limited quantities in early February, the "Year of the Rabbit" Air Jordan 2011 was billed as a celebration of Michael Jordan's birth year falling during the Year of the Rabbit on the Chinese Calendar. With MJ being such a global icon, the celebration of his birth and Chinese New Year will resume with a special Air Jordan Retro 7 release.
Fittingly, the "Hare" Air Jordan 7 was used as a starting point on this pair. Colors like green and yellow have been stripped away from the shoe's colorful geometric patterns, replaced by China-inspired metallic gold on the laces, heel, Jumpman branding and outsole. Also, like the Air Jordan 2011, the special YOTR patch is sewn on the backside of the tongue.
No release information for this pair yet, but we'll continue to keep you updated here at Sole Collector.
