Here's something you didn't see coming. Following in the steps of the Kobe Bryant and LeBron James signature sneaker lines, the Air Jordan 2011 will be re-introduced in a brand new look for the postseason. Dubbed the Jordan Fly Wade, the shoe retains pretty much the same silhouette, but switches up the design details quite drastically.
Gone is the Patina handcrafted leather that defines the original; this pair is seemingly geared toward lighter performance. A mixture of synthetics are used for construction on the upper, with the side panels still being perforated for breathability. A glossy rand wraps around the base of the base of the shoe, providing a very different look for the POP. Jumpman branding appears on the heel; a visible Max Air unit works the midsole; and the outsole, like the original, is made of translucent rubber. Lastly, the new "D3" logo is centered on the tongue in red.
There aren't very many details on this sneaker yet, but stick with Sole Collector for details as they become available. A few sizes are currently available to purchase at MarqueeSole.
