Available Tomorrow: Athletic Propulsion Labs Concept 1 - 1 Year Anniversary Edition

Athletic Propulsion Labs will celebrate the 1-Year Anniversary of the NBA-banned Concept 1 with a new release tomorrow.

Athletic Propulsion Labs was originally founded in 2009 by Adam and Ryan Goldston, but it's only been a year since their flagship basketball sneaker the APL Concept 1 officially stormed on to the scene. The shoe, which utilizes the brand's Load 'N Launch Technology to increase the wearer's vertical, made headlines across the world when it was banned (and subsequently, legitimized) by the NBA back in October.

To celebrate the 1-Year Anniversary of the Concept 1, Athletic Propulsion Labs is set to make a brand new colorway available tomorrow. The shoe, which sports a similar look to the recent Sole Collector x APL collaboration, features an upper entirely done in APL's signature neon green color. Unlike the collab shoe, this pair doesn't include the Sole Collector embroidery and makes use of a black rubber outsole instead of translucent green. There's also the additional use of black on the side panel piping.

The "Anniversary" Concept 1 will be available to purchase tomorrow at Athletic Propulsion Labs.
