Today, adidas officially launched the ClimaCool Ride, a brand new runner with 360-degree ventilation. The shoe is said to address the main cause of running discomfort - heat discharge. Available in 26 different vibrant colorways, the ClimaCool Ride excels in both performance and fashion.

The Ride is constructed with ClimaCool material that provides ventilation in key sweat zones, creating a 20% reduction in moisture and a 12% drop in foot temperature. This also enhances comfort and helps combat foot disease. A flexible midsole and outsole is built for speed and comfort, with functional sculpting that also improves the shoe's breathability as you run.

“We saw a need and opportunity with the ClimaCool Ride to create the perfect shoe that performs extremely well and looks good too,” said Mikal Peveto, director of running for adidas America.  “At 8.9 ounces, it’s lightweight and flexible with just the right amount of durability and cushioning, making it the ideal running shoe for spring and summer.”

Additionally, the ClimaCool Ride campaign is extended with a Facebook application that can recommend the perfect color for you based on photos on your Facebook page. Fans can then post their ClimaCool Ride selection to their Facebook wall and locate the nearest store where the shoe is available.

Below is a new TV spot from the people at adidas showcasing the brand new ClimaCool Ride and adi-athlete David Beckham running in a blue colorway. The ClimaCool Ride is now available to purchase at Shopadidas for a retail price of $90.
