With the NBA All-Star Game returning to the West Coast, it's no surprise that we've seen Snoop Dogg all over the place this weekend. The legendary emcee recently continued his longstanding relationship with adidas by designing some new Laker-inspired footwear for All-Star Weekend. Things didn't stop there, as Snoop and adidas linked up again yesterday to host a hoops tournament.
Looking to blend streetball and indoor competition, adiHOOP featured teams comprised of celebrities, musicians and artists for a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Snoop Dogg's team, the West Coasters, was made up of himself, Chris Brown and rapper The Game. Laced up in Snoop's newly released adiPure design, the West Coasters steamrolled through the competition to take home the adiHOOP 2011 title.
Also in attendance were adidas athletes Serge Ibaka, Matt Barnes, Jrue Holiday, Toney Douglas and Timberwolves rookie Wesley Johnson. Actor Ken Jeong, radio personality Big Boy and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels served as the all-day event's emcees, while background music was provided by DJ Neil Armstrong.
Here's a look at some of the action from adiHOOP. You can purchase the Snoop Dogg adiPURE now at adidas.
