Inspired by basketball pioneers and their call to greatness, Nike Basketball and the Jordan Brand are set to officially roll out the centerpieces of the 2011 Black History Month Collection tonight. With black-based looks inspired by the original basketball shoes of the pioneers and gold accenting symbolic of modern championship greatness, the Black History Month Nike Zoom Kobe VI and Air Jordan Retro 3 will be made available in limited quantities at select retailers across the country.
One of those retailers is House of Hoops, who pending any shipping delays, are expected to have both models on hand at all locations. The lines will certainly be long, so make sure you're planning ahead. Take another look at both shoes below.
