With the amount of characters and plot details worked into the movies that make up the Star Wars series, there's an endless amount of possibilities when it comes to these adidas Originals collaborations. For their latest release, adidas selected the mid-cut Stan Smith 80s silhouette to represent Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Royal Guard.
The shoe features an all red suede and leather look, symbolic of the crimson robes and advanced stormtrooper armor worn by the soldiers in the film. A Royal Guard character replaces Stan Smith's image on the tongue, while the back of the shoe features a visor-like piece similar to what you'd see on the helmets of the soldiers.
