Here's a detailed look at the "Green Hornet" collaboration between Taipei-based streetwear retailer PHANTACi and New Balance. With shop co-owner Jay Chou starring in the newly released superhero film alongside Seth Rogen, you had to figure something special was on the way. The result was this extremely limited Hornet-inspired MT580.
The black-based shoe features several different textures of leather on the upper, including a honeycomb print on the side panels. Vibrant green gives the shoe color pop on the inner liner, laces and outsole. Green Hornet markings include a masked lace jewel, as well as a PHANTACi/Green Hornet dual-branded hang-tag and insole.
Only 12 of the "Green Hornet" MT580s were produced. They are available now at PHANTACi.
