With the 2011 NBA All-Star Game returning to Staples Center in Los Angeles, Nike didn't just simply give Kobe Bryant an All-Star themed shoe and call it a day - they're making it an all-out event. In tribute to Kobe's 13th All-Star selection (which is pretty much a lock, though still unofficial), Nike will drop a collection of new Kobe "LA" colorways including the scenic blue-based pair we've seen in recent weeks and the '3D' pair we'll show you today.

Completely taking advantage of the textured Kobe VI upper, an anaglyph red and cyan 3D effect has been worked into the upper of the shoe. The rest of the shoe gets dark grey treatment, along with red and light blue hits on the Swoosh logos, tongue and heel counter. Each shoe is finished with a 3D graphic insole semi-translucent outsole.

At this point, it's safe to speculate that this pair will come with a pair of 3D glasses and some other add-ins. Look for the shoe, along with other Kobe All-Star styles, to drop next month.
