How often do athletes get to leak their own sneakers these days? Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant took that opportunity today, giving us an early look at the shoe he'll wear on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This comes just a day after Kobe's "Black History Month" VI was revealed online.
Like Kobe's shoe, the MLK KD III features African scarification graphics embedded into a black leather upper. Black also works the tongue, inner lining and outsole, leaving metallic gold to pop off the forefoot Flywire paneling, Swoosh and KD logo on the tongue.
Look for Durant to wear this special make-up against Kobe and the Lakers a week from today at Staples Center.
