For the last several weeks, there has been a lot of speculation that "Concord" Air Jordan XI would make a return to retail later this year. It certainly wouldn't come as a surprise, seeing as how the Jordan Brand has started somewhat of a tradition of closing out the year with a big holiday Air Jordan Retro 11 release. Last year, the sneaker world was turned upside down by the return of the "Cool Grey" Jordan Retro 11. Will the "Concords" follow in 2011?
After months of speculation, we've confirmed with our friends at the Jordan Brand that the "Concord" Air Jordan Retro 11 will indeed be making a return during the holiday season. They'll retail for $175 and will most likely hit stores sometime around Christmas again.
Now we're just left speculating on what the shoe will look like and what it'll come with. Will we see the special Jordan Retro 11 packaging and shoe trees that came with the "Space Jam" and "Cool Grey" releases? Perhaps a blue-tinted sole makeover? Maybe #45 on the heel to symbolize the comeback? Only time will tell. Let us know how you feel about the "Concords" coming back and we'll keep you posted with new information as it becomes available.
