Nike Basketball is reaching deep into the vault to reintroduce a classic sneaker early next year. This time, they're not looking to "update" the model to meet modern demands. Instead, they're maintaining the original design and adding the "vintage" detailing we've seen on releases like the AJKO, Blazer and Vandal. The returning classic is the Sky Force '88, and two colorways are expected to drop in Spring 2011.
The Sky Force '88 will be available in both black and red accented looks. Each shoe features a soft white leather upper and color detailing throughout. A vintage-style yellowing has been applied to the midsole, which sits above a solid rubber outsole.
