If you're unaware, those compliments were directed to Portland Trailblazers shooting guard Brandon Roy, one of the league's best all-around players. For a player with Roy's quick first step and explosive play, he needs a shoe that will cater to those strengths. That's why Nike has Roy fitted with player exclusive colorways of the Zoom Hyperfuse. We've already seen the white-based and red-based looks of his Hyperfuse PEs. Now we'll take a look a black colorway he's been rocking for road games early this season.
Black mesh and synthetic materials work the upper on this pair, while large white Swoosh logos appear on the side panels. Red fills in the inner liner and tongue, which sports white Hyperfuse branding. Roy's "BR7" logo is seen in red on the lateral ankle of the shoe. Finishing up below is a red outsole. This pair isn't expected to be available to the general public.
