This summer's NBA Free Agent class was arguably the most loaded of all-time. With big names like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Carlos Boozer up for grabs, the first domino to fall was Amar'e Stoudemire, who signed a multi-year deal with the New York Knickerbockers. While many assume that Stoudemire is only the first piece to the Knick puzzle and that more big names are on the way, Amar'e insists that he's ready to put New York Basketball on the map himself. With new team colors come new shoes from Nike. Switch the purple seen on his old Phoenix exclusives with a little royal blue, and you have Knick-themed sneakers. While Amar'e has still been committed to wearing the KD II, Nike did whip up this exclusive colorway of the Zoom Hyperfuse for him. Take a close look at the shoe below.

Stoudemire's Away Hyperfuse sports a mostly black upper, constructed of mesh and other synthetic materials. Orange was used for the Swoosh and Hyperfuse branding on the tongue, while royal blue goes to work on the inner liner, tongue and outsole. Also done in blue is Amare's "A1S" logo, seen on the lateral ankle of the shoe.

So we're left with one question - when is Nike just going to hook him up with exclusive colorways of the KD II? Durant's open invitation over the summer made it seem likely.
