Once upon a time, player exclusives used to be the most collectible items in the sneaker world. The reason for that was because they were exactly what they were called. Player exclusives - exclusive to players. Collectors obtained them by having deep NBA/player connections, being the lucky recipient of a post-game giveaway or paying out 2-3 paychecks on eBay. PE collecting today isn't what it once was, and part of reasoning for that is because companies like Nike have made player colorways widely available. Of course, what turns out to be bad news for collectors is great news for people who are just fans of the sneakers and players in general.
This year, Nike is making a plethora if player edition colorways available at select retailers like House of Hoops. Here's a look at some of the shoes you'll have a chance to own. Included in this group are Rajon Rondo, Brandon Roy, Russell Westbrook and Deron Williams Zoom Hyperfuses; Tyreke Evans, Dirk Nowitzki, Stephen Curry, Pau Gasol and Trevor Ariza Hyperdunk 2010s; and Al Horford and LaMarcus Aldridge Air Max Hyperdunk 2010s. Check out photos of them all below and look for these kicks to turn up at your House of Hoops spot in the coming weeks.
