It's only right that a city with the rich basketball tradition of Winston-Salem, North Carolina is next in line for a House of Hoops opening. Home to one of North Carolina's "Big Four" Universities, Wake Forest, Winston-Salem along with cities like Durham (Duke), Raleigh (North Carolina State) and Chapel Hill (North Carolina) make up the Tobacco Road schools. We don't have to tell you how much hoops history is shared between these four institutions.
You can celebrate Winston-Salem putting North Carolina on the House of Hoops radar by stopping by the Grand Opening event tomorrow. The spot is located at what used to be Foot Locker at Hanes Mall. Kyle Santillian of 102 Jamz will be in the house to host this shindig, while music will be provided by J-Flex. You can probably expect some special kicks to be unveiled as well. The Grand Opening event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST.
