One of the more unique sneaker collaborations in recently memory, New York designer, director and artist Vashtie Kola teamed up with the Jordan Brand for a feminine spin on the Air Jordan Retro 2. The shoe dropped in early October, and was scooped up by ladies young and less young (I know the deal) everywhere. However, as we mentioned, Vashtie is also a direction. Choosing to express her talents through another form of art, Vashtie has directed this “commercial” for her Retro 2 collaboration. Not an official Jordan Brand spot, Vashtie wanted to celebrate the young ladies who actually wear Air Jordans. Watch the clip below and listen for the familiar backing track. Ladies first!
