Outside of Kevin Durant, Argentina’s Luis Scola was the most impressive player at the FIBA World Championship this summer. Scola poured in 27 points per game, while grabbing 8 rebounds a contest to boot. His international dominance comes as no surprise though, as Scola has had global success before, the pinnacle perhaps coming in the form of an Olympic Gold Medal in 2004. Further emphasizing the international respect  for Scola is his endorsement deal with Chinese shoe maker Anta. Before Kevin Garnett’s deal this summer, Scola was the biggest name representing the brand. They haven’t forgotten about him though, fitting him with this all-new signature shoe for the upcoming season.

Seen below is a “China” version of the new Anta Scola shoe. A colorway that could also match Houston’s alternate jerseys, the shoe features a red leather base, accented by hits of white and yellow throughout. Scola’s career accomplishments appear on a ribbed panel that wraps from ankle to ankle. Anta’s logo is done in white leather on the lateral ankle, while China’s country calling code “+8610” is stitched in yellow above it. A unique circular traction pattern finishes things off below. What do you think of Scola’s ANTA shoe?
