Anybody who closely monitors the "shoe game" can tell you how big it is that the Jordan Brand has collaborated with an independent designer. We don't even have to talk how amazing it is that the designer is a female, and that the resulting sneaker is exclusive to women and girls. That is indeed the case with the Vashtie Kola designed Air Jordan Retro 2, and we have new images of that shoe for you today.
Decked out in a lavender nubuck base, the Vashtie 2 is complimented by a deep purple inner liner and trim, as well as a sparkly metallic silver midsole. The shimmer effect is also on full display with a set of silver laces that pull the look together above. A purple and pink rubber outsole finishes things up below. Also worth noting is the special Violette (Vashtie's label!) tissue paper that protects the shoes in the box.
You'll be able to pick up this Air Jordan Retro 2 at retailers, like New York's Extra Butter, on October 2nd.
