Tonight, we may seen the end of the 2009-2010 NBA season if the Celtics can best the Lakers on their home court. When that chapter does close this week, another equally (or even more) exciting chapter will open.

The long-awaited 2010 NBA free agency period kicks off on July 1st, and it's no secret who the big targets are. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Amar'e Stoudemire could very well find themselves on new teams next month. With that being a possibility, you knew SLAM Magazine would make it a point to examine what they call "free-agent mania."

The unique covers, designed by Peter Possenti and Melissa Brennan, may serve as a preview of what we'll see come July. For the cover story, SLAM will provide a look into the possibilities of NBA free agency. They also tapped writer Dave D'Alessandro to write an insightful, yet comedic piece on the changes we may see in the league over the next couple months.

Also in the magazine is a full-length Rajon Rondo interview, catching up with "The Franchise" Steve Francis, and pieces on a plethora of young NBA talent. Sneakerheads will be pleased to see previews for the Converse SICKS, Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, AND1 Sovereign Mid, and Jordan CP3.III Tribute among others in the magazine as well. Lastly, SLAM Editor-in-Chief Ben Osborne talks with Converse General Manager Ric Wilson for a look at the post-Wade era of the brand.

You can pick up this magazine now at newsstands everywhere.
