words_Brandon Richard One of the biggest footwear trends we've seen over the last couple of NBA seasons are players hitting the court Zoom Kobe colorways created on Nike iD. Things especially picked up this season with custom Zoom Kobe V designs. Andre Iguodala, Channing Frye, Ben Gordon, CJ Watson, and JR Smith were just a few of the players who pulled out Kobe V iDs for the season. Another player, Raptors forward Amir Johnson, had several home and away pairs customized for himself throughout the 2009-2010 season. Thanks to Uncle AtiT aka Lucas, who was able to acquire a pair, we can give you a detailed look at one of Amir's designs. It is believed that only two pairs were made in this away colorway. Unfortunately, Johnson didn't get a chance to wear them in a game. The upper features black leather with "KB24" print. White leather works on the midfoot, forefoot, and upper tongue. Varsity red is seen on the Swoosh, ankle mesh, toe cap, and heel. The inner liner, laces, lower tongue, midsole, and outsole are all done in black. Amir's initials, "AJ," are sewn in white on the inner tongue, while the ankle houses his number "15." How do you think this pair stacks up with some of the other iD jobs we've seen? via Uncle AtiT
