words_Brandon Richard Few images in music history are as iconic as Bruce Springsteen's "Born In The USA" cover. The blue jeans, cut off t-shirt, ball cap, and Old Glory in the background. It's only fitting that for this year's Independence Day, Nike releases a shoe that taps into the Springsteen classic for a true American salute. The shoe features blue denim on majority of the upper, while obsidian leather fills out the quarter panel. White works on the toe box, with red completing the US color trio on the Swoosh. Like the aforementioned album cover, an American flag design is seen on the back of the shoe. These are reportedly going to be released exclusively at NJ Skateshop, located in the stomping grounds of The Boss himself. Look out for this Quickstrike on July 3rd. via NSB
