words_Brandon Richard In 2008, the Jordan Brand released a series of "Countdown Packs" to commemorate the release of the Air Jordan XX3. The running them in the packs was that the two models included would add up to get the number 23. Simple enough. One of the packs in that group consisted of the Air Jordan Retro 6 and Retro 17. The 6/17 pack was quite popular, mostly because it marked the return of the Carmine Jordan 6. A little more than two years later, the 6 and 17 come together again, this time as part of the same sneaker. The Jordan 6-17-23 is obvious a hybrid sneaker that combines elements of both the Jordan 6 and 17. The upper is mainly constructed like the Jordan 6, but offers plenty of Jordan 17 influence. The high tongue, lace eyelets, and ventilation are pulled from the 17. Both models influence the design of the midsole, which sits atop a translucent outsole. This pair is due out in March 11. We'll continue to follow-up with any new developments. Color: Black/Concord-Dark Grey-Orion Blue Style: 428817-001 $140.00 via AnimalThug15
