words_Brandon Richard John Wall's possible sneaker deal with Reebok sparked up an interesting debate here on Sole Collector. After much speculation on which footwear provider would be able to land the Kentucky point guard, Wall announced a deal with Reebok on his own Twitter account a little over a week ago. One of the pros explored by Nick in his piece that encouraged Wall to sign the deal with Reebok was that Wall could have the chance to be the face of the upcoming Zig Slash basketball campaign. We didn't have to wait long to see Wall put the Zig Slash on the hardwood. Today, in front of the Washington Wizards coaches and scouts, Wall took part in his first pre-draft NBA workout. While Coach Flip Saunders was focused on the kid's jumpshot, handling, crisp passing, and speed, while sneakerheads immediately glanced to see what his footwear weapon of choice was. What we saw was a white and royal blue colorway of the Zig Slash. This pair is a little more in line with his Kentucky uniform, but we're just one week away from the NBA draft where Wall is expected to go first overall to Washington. We may see a Wizards colorway when they kick-off the Las Vegas Summer League in July.
