In 2005, radio personality Big Tigger took the stage for an episode of BET's 106 & Park in a previously unseen Air Jordan Retro 13 colorway. The shoe featured a team red 3M upper with clay suede working the heel and base. Through the years, a few sample pairs of this unreleased Jordan 13 colorway made their way to eBay and other online sneaker marketplaces. Little did we know, this shoe would reappear this year.
A recent leaked photo suggests that the previous "Desert Clay" Retro 13 sample has been tweaked and will be released as the Bin23 Retro 13 Premio. In the photo, you'll see a shoe that is blocked similarly to the 2005 sample, but has a few notable differences as well. The upper appears to not make use of the 3M mesh material, instead opting for a premium team red suede. Also, the Jumpman on the tongue has been replaced with the Bin23 wax stamp.
