words_Nick DePaula images_Steve Mullholand In the past week there has certainly been a considerable amount of buzz for the Austin Jermacans designed Future Sole Jordan Melo M6, leading up to the much anticipated release of the the 17 year-old designer's first production shoe. Even though the NBA Playoffs have long been over for Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets, the shoe's launch yesterday did conveniently coincide with Melo's 26th Birthday. While only one colorway will see a public release, Sole Collector will be bringing you detailed images of four player exclusive versions of the Future Sole Melo M6 in Anthony's size 15. First up is this obsidian based away colorway that Melo wore on the road during Denver's 1st round series against the Utah Jazz. With a gleaming university blue patent leather rand, obsidian ballistic mesh and quilted synthetic leather along the collar, you'll also find several hits of taxi yellow along the shoe's branding and top three eyelets. More colorful than the Black/ University Blue/ Taxi style that released, this version was only made for Carmelo Anthony.
