Speaking of the which, last year, Nike created a special version of his LeBron VI that was dubbed the LeBron VI "Big Apple." The shoe featured an all red leather upper with green accents and a speckled white midsole. Many thought we'd see a LeBron VII sequel to this shoe, but they never surfaced. At least not until now. Some sneakerheads think this pair salutes Christmas more than it does NYC.
It would be an early Christmas in New York if LeBron decides to convert that big city fascination into a Knickerbocker contract this summer.
