words_Nick DePaula As usually happens in today's world of breaking news, Jason Richardson recently announced via Twitter that he has officially agreed to become the newest endorser for PEAK. The Chinese athletic company is not only the official partner of the NBA in China, but they've also greatly increased their roster of NBA players in just the last year alone. With a team that includes Jason Kidd, Shane Battier, Ron Artest, Sasha Vujacic, Mickael Petrius and many more, Jason Richardson is the latest athlete to receive his very own PEAK signature shoe. He debuted his model, dubbed the PEAK J-Rich, earlier tonight at home against the Rockets, and just before tipoff he leaked a few images of both his home and away colorways. The swooping silhouette features faux snakeskin along the toe cap of each pair, along with Suns-themed hits of purple and orange. For Richardson, PEAK will become the third brand that he's worn during his NBA career. He initially wore Nike during the preseason of his rookie year in 2001, then signed with Reebok for his first three seasons in the league. Since the beginning of the 2004 season, he's worn Nike. There's no word just yet on the particulars of JRich's newest endorsement contract with PEAK, but you can expect his shoe to be available exclusively in China. Jason Richardson in action:
