The Hundreds Footware Spring 2010 Preview
Keeping it simple seems to consistently work for The Hundreds.
words_Nick Engvall The Hundreds has taken streetwear to an entirely new level in its 7 years in existence. With sales of nearly $5 million in 2008, it's no surprise that other streetwear brands keep on eye on the company's every move. Last year they launched their first line of "Footware." A collection of simply styled silhouettes in equally easy-on-the-eyes colorways. No surprise, other brands have followed suit, but somehow The Hundreds stands apart as always. For 2010, the first round of colorways for the spring has The Hundreds on the same successful path as the company has always been on. The Chucks-like Valenzuela comes in a timeless black with red and white accents, as well as an additional canvas version in green. The company's most popular model last year, the Johnson, also receives new color treatments. Perforated versions of the low-top Johnson come in a light blue and black colorway and a black and white colorway as well. Finishing up the Spring Preview is a mid cut version of the Johnson is an all black version in pebbled leather. It doesn't seem like rocket science, yet somehow The Hundreds knows the formula that has folks buying their gear and other company's like Disney, knocking on their door for collaborations. Look for these at your local The Hundreds dealer in the coming weeks. via tenisufki
