New Balance 150 Spring 2010 Preview
Two models merged in an effort to create a more wallet friendly shoe.
words_Nick Engvall New Balance has taken a card from the Swoosh deck with this upcoming silhouette. Taking two silhouettes and melding them together to create a more economically friendly version for today's global financial slow down. New Balance classics have always demanded a premium price for good reason, but here in the US where it's a little more difficult to get many of the sought after colorways, the premium price and extra shipping keeps some really great shoes just out of reach for a lot of sneakerheads. While it might not be the complete solution, New Balance has come up with a solid approach for battling budget crises. Taking the style of one of their popular (and more high priced) classic models, the 1500, with the more price conscious 850 silhouette, New Balance has created the 150. The 150 takes the popular style from the upper of the 1500, with the sole of the 850, and will come in at a price point that leans more towards the 850 side of things.
