words_Nick Engvall Every year Air Force 1 collector's get a shot at a number of All Star specific creations from Nike. While in previous years, it's been one or two colorways that embody the city that hosts the NBA All Star Weekend festivities, this year a four pack of the classic Air Force 1 were made up for the event. Dallas' Cowboy Stadium will host the three day event that these commemorate on February 12th-14th, 2010. Rather than work all the state colors into one silhouette, Nike has created three versions of the Air Force 1 Low. Each features one of the colors from the Lone Star state's flag used as a patent leather starting point. A special icon for the event was created, which incorporates the shape of the state with the outline of a basketball. Each of the red, white, and blue low-tops features the logo on the base of the ankle. The silver of the logo ties in perfectly to the silver Swoosh which has been done in pebbled basketball leather. Finishing off the collection is a high type version of the Air Force 1, done up in grey and black featuring the same Texas All Star logo placed on the forefoot. These may not be the level of the 2006 Houston Air Force 1 All Star editions with clear soles or classic Astros colors, but there will be plenty of heads in Texas and beyond looking forward to getting their hands on these. You can get them now from Kinetics, but can you choose just one?
