Supra Skytop II World Tour Official Dates
Where will you catch the Supra Skytop II World Tour?
words_Nick Engvall Supra has yet to slow up with their onslaught of the skate scene in recent years. Their popularity seems to parallel the skyrocketing ankle heights that accompany their most sought after sneaker models. Of course it doesn't hurt to have a slew of skaters that rightfully indulge in self promotion as smoothly as they skate. Their most popular silhouette, the Chad Muska pro model, better known as the Skytop, has recently received a makeover. To no one's surprise, the cut on the ankle has once again been upped a notch. The Skytop II was recently unveiled by Supra, in that same aforementioned love of self promotion, they've announced The Supra Skytop II World Tour. Only the team at Supra could pull off such a feat, as proven by an earlier tour this year for the TK Society pro model of skater/rapper Terry Kennedy. This limited version of the Skytop II will feature a premium suede upper comprised of a nice tonal mix of grey and black. The only offsetting color can be found on the inner liner, heel tag, and a subtle pinstripe around the vulcanized sole. The color scheme offsets the unique style lines of the Skytop II, and with the popularity of the TK Society, the angled ankle cut and overall height will probably land the Skytop II in the closets of many. The Skytop II World Tour will begin in Paris, yes that's Paris, France, not the miniature version located in Vegas, though that might be fitting for the rock star style Supra team as well. Following two stops in Paris at colette and Street Machine, they'll be hitting up a handful of shops in the US. At each of the stops they'll be releasing 36 individually numbered pairs of the Skytop II. There are 10 stops in all, so check out the list below and contact the nearest retailer to you for more event details. All in all 600 of these individually numbered Skytops will help launch the new Skytop II silhouette. Will you be one of the few to get your hands on a pair?
