This colorway of the Air Jordan XII was debuted by Michael Jordan in the 1997 NBA Playoffs - en route to his second consecutive championship. Another thing about this shoe is that it’s the only original colorway that has a different style number from the rest of the colors. The style number was also re-used when the Air Jordan XIIs were retroed in 2004. Usually an original and a retro have different numbers. This was also the last colorway to be released for the original Air Jordan XIIs.
