While another new year was approaching and a new NBA season had, started we got the new Air Jordan model: the Air Jordan XI. The design inspiration was straight from MJ who said he wanted a shoe that would look good both off the court as well as on. A shoe that he could wear with a suit of some kind. Up to that day no one had dared to try to put patent leather on a basketball sneaker, but Michael Jordan was that man. It was doubted by many, but went on to become one of the most loved Air Jordans or sneaker of all time. Also, just like MJ said, that they’re so hot you can even wear them with a suit. Before he even went public with that statemen, R&B group Boyz II Men could be seen wearing the Air Jordan XIs while dressed up and performing.
